The United States of Africa is a hypothetical concept of a federation of some or all of the 55 sovereign states on the continent of Africa. The concept takes its origin from Marcus Garvey's 1924 poem "Hail, United States of Africa". Its a non profit corporation registered in the United States to unify African continent and people of African descent worldwide.

To promote education and true knowledge of black history. 5. To promote Swahili language and other indigenous languages spoken by people of African descent throughout the world. 6. To promote Tourism in Africa by marketing Africa as a single destination. 7. To engineer technological, cultural ,economic development. 8. To promote Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness. 9. To promote youth and women leadership. 10. To empower young people, women and children through their talents. 11. To promote equality and equal opportunities for all. 12. To encourage Intra-Africa Trade and cooperation among GPAN member states. 13. To have a Global Health care plan for GPAN members. 14. Advocate for environmental conversations through promotion of green energy and encourage planting of indigenous trees. 15. To advocate for land equality in Africa and equitable distribution of land. The United States of Africa is legally registered in Texas, United States as a non profit corporation to unify the African Continent and all people of African descent into one Federal State beyond Borders. No Sponsors: USAF does not have any sponsors and we rely on our supporters to keep us going forward. 2. “If ever there was a life of lived Pan Africanism, it was that of Amy Ashwood Garvey” (Adi and Sherwood 69). This quote may be surprising to many since, as stated by pan- Africanist scholar Horace Campbell, the ideological history of Pan Africanism has almost always focused on the contributions made by great heroes, mostly male, which denied the link to a broader social movement and the role of women (Campbell 286). This in itself emphasizes the struggle for a woman’s voice to be heard in movements and by extension the wider society, when dominated by male figures. Amy Ashwood Garvey (1897-1969), the first wife of Marcus Garvey, is acknowledged as building upon the feminist activist work of African and Caribbean feminists before her. She made significant contributions to the Pan Africanist movement, feminism and community development in Britain, the Caribbean and West Africa.
